Update voter registration or register to vote

Update driver’s license information, or apply for a driver's license

Missoula County does not issue driver’s licenses. Please visit the Montana Motor Vehicle Division office, located at 2681 Palmer St, Suite A in Missoula.


Sign up for emergency alerts

Missoula County is no stranger to natural disasters like floods and wildfires. Help our Office of Emergency Management alert you to potential dangers in your neighborhood by signing up for Smart911. It’s free!

Update your car title, or title your car for the first time

Missoula County registers and titles cars on behalf of the state of Montana. Stop by the Clerk & Recorder’s office in the Missoula County Courthouse (200 W. Broadway) to get started. Make sure to join the queue before you leave the house to save some time!


License your pet (or adopt one!)

Paying an annual license for your dog(s) helps them get home safe if they get lost while also supporting the great work of our Animal Control department. Click here to learn more about licensing your pet.

Get a library card

It’s free! The Missoula Public Library is an incredible resource to our communities. The main branch was voted best new public library in 2022. There are branches in Frenchtown, Lolo, Potomac, Seeley Lake and Swan Valley. Click here to learn more and get a library card.
