The Seeley Lake Refuse District provides solid waste storage, collection and disposal services to the community of Seeley Lake. The district is funded through special assessment revenues applied to properties of benefit in a clearly defined boundary. They actively promote responsible waste management and efforts to improve recycling options and availability. Operations at the District focus on health and safety practices that protect human and environmental welfare.
The district accepts cash or checks only. We do not accept credit cards at this time. No large bills, please.

Fees are current as of Sept. 15, 2024. Prices are listed as in-district/out-of-district. The first ten cubic yards of ordinary household or business trash are free of charge for district members.
Payment is due on-site by cash or check only.
Unsecured loads will be assessed a $25 tarping fee, regardless of district membership.
Volume equivalents
- One 32-gallon garbage can or trash bag is equivalent to 1/8 compacted cubic yard
- One 4x8 truck box level full of household refuse is equivalent to one cubic yard
- One 4x8 truck box level full of construction materials is equivalent to two cubic yards
