Representation
The West Valley Community Council is comprised of six residents and meets at 6 p.m. on the second Thursday of every month. Meetings take place at the Frenchtown Fire Station. Community councils act as a liaison between the citizens of their communities and the county commissioners, providing information deemed useful, beneficial and helpful in decisions that affect the community. Community councils are advisory only and have no tax or other governmental powers.

Your Public Library
The Frenchtown branch of the Missoula Public Library is located inside of Frenchtown High School. In the summer, it is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Ponda Rosa Park: 7.3 acres, located off of Terrace View Drive. Amenities include river access.
