Representation
The East Missoula Community Council is comprised of five residents and meets at 7 p.m. on the second Tuesday of every month at the East Missoula Fire Hall at 314 Montana Ave. Click here to learn more about the community council, including minutes, agendas, bylaws and contact information.
Community councils act as a liaison between the citizens of their communities and the county commissioners, providing information deemed useful, beneficial and helpful in decisions that affect the community. Community councils are advisory only and have no tax or other governmental powers.
- East Missoula Rural Fire District provides firefighting services.
- East Missoula Sewer District oversees the wastewater system.

Parks & Trails
- East Missoula Lions Park: 1.7 acres, off of Michigan Ave. Amenities include a restroom, playground, shelter, picnic tables, bleachers and a horseshoe pit.
- Canyon View park: .6 acres, off of Canyon View Drive. Amenities include a playground and picnic tables.
